You'd recognize this immediately if you've ever seen the album cover for the soundtrack of that movie. I got the soundtrack fall of last year and KNEW I'd do it for an art project eventually, sure enough, I did later that year. I took this picture tonight because I'm entering for an art award so I'll upload my portfolio... and the picture isn't very good... Rather glarey
This one took me one hell of a long time. When I started to color it, I spent about a week working from about 6 to at least 10 every night.... Came out great. And if you can't tell, This sucker's colored pencil. I probably ought to mention that I've recevied an honorable mention for this in an art show this past fall. The only reason I didn't get a better prize was that it was a copy (Even though the one that won 1st was a copy.. she just didn't know). |
